We rely on dedicated volunteers to help transform our home ownership mission into reality for local families.
Because of the help of people like you, whole neighborhoods improve and completely transform. Through this transformation, families achieve the strength, stability and independence they need to build a better life. Whether you are a skilled crafts person or have never hammered a nail, Habitat needs your help! There are many volunteer opportunities available; join us today to help us keep building in our community.
Join Habitat on the “front lines” at the build site and help create homes alongside local families in need. We welcome volunteers of all experience and skill levels. Volunteers will never be asked to complete a job they do not feel comfortable with, and our build site staff members are happy to make special accommodations if necessary. Habitat for Humanity requires volunteers to be ages 16 and up, and that all volunteers sign a release form. Please complete the Standard Volunteer Waiver through the sign-up link above, or print out a copy at home and bring it to the office at 3655 MT HWY 200 East in East Missoula. For more information about build site operations, please read our Construction FAQs and Safety Manual below.
The Habitat ReStore
The Habitat ReStore is a vital part of Habitat for Humanity of Missoula’s mission.
Come join our dynamic team of volunteers at the ReStore! Whether you enjoy organizing home goods and interacting with people, or if furniture and appliance re-furbishing is more up your alley, we could always use your help. All the proceeds of our ReStore go to build homes for qualified families who could otherwise not afford to own a home.
To get involved, call 406-549-8215 and ask for Todd!
Habitat Missoula has opportunities in a variety of our committees including the Community Support Committee, Faith Relations Committee, Community Support Committee, Volunteer Support Committee and the ReStore Committee. These committees are a vital part of the operations that keep our mission running smoothly. For more information on committee activities, please click below.
